New Regulations In Sight – Website Mandatory for Businesses

Companies may be required under new legislation to have a dedicated website linked to their business as The Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) further crack down in company regulations.
ASIC has been discussing further ways to tackle cyber security and its growing impact on small businesses. Discussions during 2019 included whether moving forward, that all businesses registered in Australia be required to list their primary website, in addition to their address and contact information.
