New Project Spotlight: theAd Launches YourAi App — A Mobile AI Wrapper for Chat, PDF & Smart Text Workflows

The world of generative AI is evolving quickly, but there’s one place it’s been missing: your keyboard. That’s why we at theAd recently launched YourAi App — a cross-platform mobile app designed as an AI wrapper that brings intelligent assistance right into your daily messaging, document reading, and contract workflows.
Think of it as your personal assistant, right inside WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram, or even your Notes app.

An AI wrapper is a lightweight interface or tool that integrates with existing apps or OS functions (like keyboards or messaging apps), allowing users to access advanced AI capabilities without switching apps. It “wraps around” native experiences with an intelligent overlay.

In the case of YourAi, this means a smart keyboard, PDF reader, and assistant that lives inside your phone’s messaging and productivity environment.

Custom AI Keyboard Integration

1. Fully functional keyboard replacement for Android and iOS
2. Smart reply suggestions powered by LLMs (like GPT)
3. Context-aware prompts based on current conversation
4. Tone shifting (rewrite casually, professionally, friendly, etc.)
5. Translate, summarise, or rephrase in-app

Multi-PDF Processing & Smart Reading

1. Upload multiple PDFs (contracts, documents, notes)
2. Ask questions and get AI summaries
3. Highlight and search within multi-doc projects
4. Generate contract insights, clause summaries, and more

Real-Time WhatsApp Integration

1. Use the smart keyboard directly in WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS
2. AI-powered sentence completions, smart tone, emoji suggestions

Secure & Private

1. Local document parsing where possible
2. No third-party sharing of messages or personal files
3. Device-first design for privacy and speed

Use Cases

1. Business professionals drafting emails or contracts on mobile
2. Students reviewing lecture PDFs & summarising in chat
3. Legal workers reviewing agreements quickly on the go
4. Anyone replying smarter and faster in daily conversations

The project required close integration between native mobile capabilities (keyboard API, secure storage, iOS/Android compatibility) and custom AI services. We leveraged:

1. React Native + Swift/Java bridges for mobile base
2. OpenAI/GPT APIs (with custom instructions)
3. PDF parser layer (supporting tables, OCR, scanned docs)
4. Custom AI prompt injection system (based on chat context)
5. On-device caching for low-latency typing suggestions

Design-wise, we wanted a minimalist, Apple-grade feel with clean icons, clear actions, and smart UI transitions.

YourAi App is currently in closed beta, with early testers using it across Android and iOS for multilingual communication, contract review, and smarter daily messaging.
We’re opening up public testing soon. If you’re interested, reach out via thead.com.au or watch this space for launch announcements.
